County government jobs in Kenya

About county government jobs

Each county has a County Public Service Board that recruits staff for county departments such as health, education (ECDE), agriculture, roads, finance and administration. County jobs are advertised on the county website and in the newspapers, and some counties give preference to residents.

Many counties still accept applications by post or hand delivery using a county application form, while others use online portals. Follow the "how to apply" instructions exactly: county adverts often ask you to write the job title and reference number on the envelope.

Shortlisted candidates are usually asked for Chapter Six clearances. See our document guides to get them ready.
